About STAND

For over 20 years, STAND has created a sense of staying power in Scott County through hands-on involvement to engage everyone in the community. We promote healthy outcomes through service-learning projects, frequent coalition meetings, and partnership opportunities that prioritize health-centric, smart policies.

Our team desires to see those affected by substance misuse reach their full potential as contributing and caring members of our community. We believe in the golden rule of loving others as yourself and that someone going through a challenging time should never feel belittled or unheard. Instead, our team is here to uplift, empower, and meet those seeking a better way of life where they are while proactively working with our youth to partner with us in a brighter future.
